East Coast Pride positively welcomes media enquiries in both the run-up to and during our East Coast Pride celebrations.

Filming and photography at our event

East Coast Pride is filmed and photographed throughout the day.

Official photographers, videographers, accredited media and our own content team work across the whole site. Images and footage may be used in future publicity, press coverage, funding and impact reporting, and on our website and social media channels.

By entering Tower Gardens on event day, you may be captured in photography or video. Signage is displayed at all entry points as a reminder.

If you would prefer not to be filmed or photographed, please tell any member of the media team, a Zone Manager or a steward and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.

For media, creators and anyone with a camera, please remember:

Not everyone at Pride is out. Being visible here does not mean someone is visible everywhere else.
Ask before taking close-up photography or video of individuals, and respect anyone who says no.
Do not photograph or film anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian who is present.
Do not film in or around the welfare, medical or safeguarding points.

If an image of you has been published and you would like it removed, email brad.johnson@eastcoastpride.co.uk and we will take it down.

Calling all content creators

We are looking for content creators to help us capture East Coast Pride 2026 and share it with a wider audience.

We would love to hear from you if you produce:

Short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts
Photography, whether crowd, performance or portrait
Live coverage and stories from the day
Interviews with performers, stallholders, sponsors and the community
Behind the scenes content on how a community Pride comes together

What we offer:

Media accreditation for the day
Access to our media point and briefing before doors open
Named credit wherever we use your work
Advance information on acts and running order

How to apply:

Email brad.johnson@eastcoastpride.co.uk with links to your work, the platforms you post on, your audience size, and what you plan to create on the day.

We particularly welcome creators from across Lincolnshire and the wider LGBTQIA+ community.

Talking about East Coast Pride

When talking about our organisation and event, it is important to use the correct name, East Coast Pride.

We are a charity in England and Wales, and have the legal status of a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered charity number 1210722.

Referring to us as "Skegness Pride" or "gay pride" can be confusing and exclude members of the wider LGBTQIA+ community who may not identify as gay. Our event and our work is a celebration of all LGBTQIA+ identities, so let us make sure we are inclusive in our language and represent everyone in our community.
