Event and Pride Producer

With over two decades of global event management experience, Matthew is a seasoned professional known for his work with high-profile entities like Disney, Cameron Macintosh, Universal, and RedBull. Matt has organised many LGBQTIA+ events in his career and is passionate about improving and empowering the community along the East Coast. His expertise encompasses event design, negotiation, and act management, ensuring the success of events across local, national, and international levels. Committed to community engagement, Matthew's theatrical background and extensive experience make him an invaluable leader in the operations of entertainment and event design for various charitable and community events.

Events & Logistics Lead

Craig, the Venue and Events Manager at the Hive Complex, an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, brings substantial experience in organising events like the Reggae Festival in Skegness. He is pivotal in supporting East Coast Pride, focusing on event planning, coordinating with the Safety Advisory Group, and offering crucial support. Generously, Craig's time and expertise are provided pro bono by The Hive Complex and the Bola Family, significantly contributing to the realisation and success of the East Coast Pride event.

Communications & Stakeholder Lead

Brad is an accomplished PR Practitioner, accredited by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and holds associate and chartered manager status with relevant professional bodies, ensuring adherence to various codes of conduct. As a Head of Department in an international education company, Brad plays a pivotal role in strategic decision-making. His academic achievements include a BA and MSc from the University of Hertfordshire and several qualifications in marketing, digital strategy, and management. Brad's experience includes directing large-scale events like the National Student Fundraising Awards and the Whatuni Student Choice Awards.

Choreographer & Community Dance Liaison

Dominic has been a part of the performing industry for most of his life and part of the LGBTQIA+ community. He’s dedicated a large part of his life to finding ways to support the forgotten and underappreciated people of his community. This includes providing dance classes for LGBTQIA+ teens that also double as a safe space for them.

 

He’s choreographed and danced at pride events worldwide and looks forward to bringing his expertise to the East Coast.

Volunteering Lead

As a champion for young LGBTQIA+ people, Amy is passionate about supporting and educating not only young people but also their families, who can sometimes get forgotten in the journey of coming out. 

 

Amy is proud and excited about being part of this amazing event and can’t wait to see Skegness come to life with the colour of diversity.

Blue Light Zone Lead

Lewis, an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, has earned a reputation as an internationally respected drummer, which has brought him huge success, including international tours, major festivals, and national radio and television appearances.

 

With his passion for theatre and musicals, Lewis has played a role on national theatre Tours including  Hairspray. In 2019, he was appointed drummer for Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show World Tour, touring across sold-out shows in the UK and making appearances on national television

Lewis is a volunteer Helm and Navigator at Skegness RNLI Lifeboat Station, his second passion in life, which is why he's come on board to be our Blue Light Zone Lead for East Coast Pride.
